NADINECOYLE.NET
Having followed Nadine on Irish Popstars when it aired on ITV's CDUK in 2002, it was amazing to see her return in Popstars: The Rivals later that year. It was then that I first decided to create a fan site to support her. With the 'nadinecoyle.net' domain and web space on a fan site network, I began working on the first version of NadineCoyle.net in October 2002 and launched as the first ever website dedicated to Nadine on 26th October 2002. Within a few days the website was being flooded with supporters and journalists but the most exciting visitor was the lady herself! I was invited to meet Nadine and feature on the Popstars: The Rivals Extra when she and the show's producers spotted the site in it's first two weeks online. In the months and years that followed, NadineCoyle.net, our sister site Girls Aloud World and the associated message forum became a huge success, establishing themselves as some of the most popular Girls Aloud dedications on the net. However, as I moved from school to college and University, I had less time to dedicate to updating the sites. In a bid to combat this, Girls Aloud related content was moved (2005) and now remains solely on Girls Aloud World. NCN remains dedicated to Nadine and I am currently working to bring the focus of this site on to Nadine's solo career. PAST DESIGNS
A DAY WITH NADINE
My report from when I spent the day at the Popstars studios in 2002, interviewing Nadine, will be back on the site shortly. It's very old now though so it's embarassing picture alert!
